I just gotta stay in front of Paul's Impala

which has been easy so far, seeing as how he still does not have the motor back......

Donny don't worry about the big block biscuit and Imper. If you can not take care of them we will sic all 304.6 cubes of the Boss on them. Sure torque is a foriegn word to the baby boss and it likely could not pull dental floss out of a banana's arse but maybe we can scare them when it is shrieking at 7000+ rpm with the thought of hard parts bouncing off the pavement when they exit the motor as some may hit their car!

    Sincerely your small block partner,

    Mark

Speaking of Biscaynes, there was a gem at the tire store here in Brighton today. 63 2 door, 6 cyl powerglide. Dark bown, original, beautiful right down to the dog dishes. Asked about it and the manager said, "It has a flat right front tire".   Almost a shame to see a car like that out in this friggin weather. This really sucks!

At first, I could'nt understand why they would'nt allow it,and then it hit me! They never used chrome valve covers on the old "Twin Plug 377 ci Aluminum Hemi"!!!

Hey tough guy - I shift 427 cubic inches of BBChevy love at 6400 RPM. I got your little wimpy Boss 02 in my sights along with that Donny Vette. You small block guys are no match for the 'Scayne ............. :moonu: I've got a perfect rear bumper bracket that I can hook my tow strap to if you need a hand getting to the end of the 1320 .........

My search skills are sucking right now. This would be a perfect time for the 455 Olds Hemi to make its appearance! :pp

    Casey,

You bringing yourself down to the small block level once again! You sold your small block screamer. Aim for bigger fish. Besides, you are going to have to catch me!!! :3gears:

    meanwhile back up in Lansing....

Hijack, hijack. Time for an Oldsmobile pic. (Thanks, Rusty)

This is the "Baby Bear" Rocket...an all aluminum 350. Dan has one of the Mama bear all aluminum 455's. Only one or two of the Papa Bear Olds hemi's. One is in the REO museum in Lansing. Will try to find a pic of that.

Open season on Biscaynes, Hursts, and other such nonsense next year. Not quite a big block, kinda stuck there in the middle at 400. Very sweet spot for these cars. :Brow: :Brow: :Brow:

BTW, this isn't my car, just a photo from the file. Mine has black fenders, no power brakes, no power steering, no chrome valce covers, no headers (sorry Brian), and the MSD box will be hidden better than that.

Thanks for the W43 article, Brian. I'll get out my magnifying glass and see if I can figure out WTF it is. :bglasses:

    Noel:

You're alive! Still celebrating that Nov 18 fluke?

Since we're not worthy to play you guys again, how about a very interesting bet. You have Ohio State, I have Michigan. $1.00 for every point difference in the score between each of them and their opponents if they both win, $2 per point if either of them loses (combined with the other game).

So suppose they both win and Ohio State beats their opponent (Florida) by 8 points and Michigan only wins by 3. I owe you $5. But suppose Ohio state wins by 8 and Michigan loses by 3, I'd owe you $14 ($8 + 6) If both lose, then it'll be the difference in who lost by the least times $2.

    OK?

    Hey Noel,

Yeah, Budda keeps flappin' his jaws that Hurst are going to be chum for him. He has yet to turn a wheel with that heap. I might get scared when he flips a 12.80 up on the board his first race out! :error: Looking forward to seeing your car and Dave's Black Beauty when they are done! Hopfully we don't have to put a bullet in Black Beauty when he turns up lame! :spank:

Casey when Donny is done cleaning up the Biscuit with that fine piece of glass I will follow up in his wake with the baby boss. Hopefully it goes quick enough to earn a Stroker Boy Jr. sign! As I believe the Stroker Boy sign has been permently retired to Benoit. Plus the Boss will never get anywhere near the time that Benoit's LT1 bass boat ran. Hopefully a bit better than the one that Brian could not knock out of the tree at the small block shootout.

If need be I will keep your generous offer to help me out with a tow. The Boss may need a bit of a tug to get her going off the line short gears and all.

    Dance card: 1

    Mark
