This is the quad core from eBay in the pic it appears needle has 90° bend at bottom and the spring seated at bottom of assembly supposed to be there ? What does that cotter pin looking thing go?. The guy had secondary butterflies reversed so would not close fully.. I want to put this back together so it can be properly stored
The primary rod is bent, someone was in a rush to assemble it. The spring is supposed to be under the power piston, it pulls the rods up when spring pressure overcomes manifold vacuum. The silver cotter pin thing in the picture holds the float in place at the top of the fuel bowl.
And the little oval tab, I suppose it might connect to the rod coming from choke plate only to disappear inside main body. Thanks by the way.
The tab connects to the choke assembly. It connects the choke assy to the rod that goes up to the choke plate
