Thats F___king ridiculious. Nothing better to do??
Why don't they spend their time going to the local projects and rounding up some drug dealers instead? What are they scared? Pussies.:bla:

That's just crazy and unbelievable! There must be some sort of civil rights violations and this will all get tossed. Some lawyer will read that and froth over the opportunity to do a class action deal.
I wonder if the next step is going down to LA and start writing tickets for "body modifications" for women that are publicly displaying racy sex machines.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com[IMG]

I have always found it interesting that a state full of liberals who demand that they have the right to do anything they want, no matter how sick or perverted it might be, are also living in the most regulated state in America, where even working on your own car can be a felony. Way to go California. Regulate yourselves into oblivion. No wonder people and businesses are racing for the exits. Soon to be the real life version of "Atlas shrugged".

I feel sorry ricers too. If they want to put 20 or 30 grand into a 4 cyl car; more power to them! THey shouldnt get tickets for that! The cops are just jealous they dont have duals on their squad cars!

They do too have duals!! ( it just takes two of 'em riding in the car together to make a pair because they left one each at home for the "ball" and chain to hold on to....:bla: )

And the PIGS wonder why most people don't trust them anymore. This is a very good example. And I might add, a waste of taxpayers money. A-holes! Jim

That is absolutely crazy. Soon they will be charged with crimes against nature for excessive carbon emmissions.

12. I would suspect the police were doing this under instruction from somebody higher up in city or county Goverment

I'm sure they were, but the fact remains..... It's NOT the proper way to go about doing what they did, and only degrades the Police Force units and individual officers in the towns, cities and counties involved. I'd say they should be ashamed, but I'm sure all they were thinking was.... "Hut hut hut, let's bust some ass". Oh well.. Cops and their superiors are like that (no shame), as they seem to live in their own little world of brotherhood and sisterhood. Jim :bglasses:

15. Poppaluv

Poppaluv I CALL WINNERS!!!

Says the one cop, "If you're not street racing, why would you want any more power"

I cannot even comment on this one, other to say as smart assy as I could be, "Because neither the you or your supervisors have any frikkin say w/ what I do w/ my $!" a-hole!!!!!!! :af: :moonu:

Like he doesn't approve of your personal spending...Crap like this doesn't make any of you Cop's life any easier. It must really get old having to face friends anfd family. I know I give my LEO friends a hard time. They usually hang their head w/ disbelief and shame...:(

16. using that logic wouldn't it make sense to be citing owners of new vettes and other cars that obviously have far more power than is needed for everyday driving?

I've got no problems with them surrounding an actual illegal street race, but this is very much big brother in action.

Then again, the vast majority of tickets issued are about revenue and not about safety anyway, so this isn't that much of a reach given the mindset already at work.

Drug Dealers shoot back and dont usually pay their fines. Easier work to pick on unarmed taxpayers.

Did anyone notice the name of the JOURNAL. everything is slanted and vague.

You can be fined for altering alot of emissions equipment on an equiped vehicle. is this what they are talking about? I'm sure it is, But they are going to slant it another way.

If everything in the article is true.... then ya i would be pissed off too. but I bet there is more to the story and several discrepencies in the story. can anyone find that sotry elsewhere?:Do No:

sound like "down with THE MAN" stuff to me. You gotta listen to both sides...
