Not sure what it's worth or worth saving. It has some curb rash and dents on the edge. I haven't had a chance to wire wheel/clean up the surface rust and repaint the black yet. Or clean up the chrome which I believe is fine except for the curb rash areas. Don't think there is any pitting hiding under the dirt. Just trying to get an idea to see before I think about boxes/shipping/scraping or if its something that goes to the Nats Thanks, Nick
If the wheel isn't bent/wobbling, I wouldn't hesitate to use it on a driver. It's not show quality, but it is good for a driver. Heck, the 2 wheels I'm using for drag radials have a lot of imperfections in them. One of them even had the bead lip bent in a ways that I hammered out straight. They balanced out fine and don't wobble. Somebody that wants one for a beater/driver will use that one, for sure. It would even be great for just a spare tire. Main thing I would do to it, though, is wire wheel the surface rust.
There are all sorts of better examples out there. Keep it for a spare tire or scrap it. It won't sell for much, and you'll probably have it listed for a long time.
A lot of good chrome on that wheel. There are worse ones for sale on eBay for $50 or more. If that lip was fixed could easily get that. Or could use as is with a trim ring. Good candidate for a spare too. I definitely would not scrap it. Those are becoming harder and harder to find.
