One way to do it would be to get the bracket off a '80's rear wheel drive car. It cost me about $5 total to get in and out of a u-pull yard with the bracket.

I did this to get the correct mount to convert to a 200-4R transmission. The bracket sets on top of the rear q-jet base plate mounts. You could just cut off the transmission portion of the bracket for a cleaner look.

I can post a picture for you later this evening when I get home if needed.

    Best Wishes,

Some generic piece from Jegs or Summit would be ideal for me. The hours I work its impossible to get to a yard...

I just dont know the "correct" term for the piece I need.

    Cullen,
Don't waste your money. All you need to do is space the bracket you have up 1" with a longer bolt. The height difference won't make any difference besides orientation of the cable mount.

I added a spacer with no problems. One thing you can do if you want is bend the bracket to shoot the cable up.

Good advice guys. Thanks. I just wanted to have everything I needed at my disposal so I didn't have any trips to the parts store in the middle of the install.
