    Hi,
My car was 350-2V as new, converted to 4V by previous owner.
I've since changed intake, carb. etc. to make it all '71 specific.
    Q-Jet works just fine.
I picked up a NOS throttle cable coded BB.
Anyone know the physical differences between this & the 2V cable.
I may look at changing it but don't want to find out it already has the 4V cable.

    Cheers,

    Chris,
    Got it, thanks.
I send many folks to George's site but usually forget to check it for my own issues.

    Steve,
My 69 started out as a 350-2 as well. When I swapped on a 4bbl, the original throttle cable on mine was too long. I ended up fixing it cheaply by putting a clip on the cable at the pedal to pull it out and shorten it temporarily until I could find a replacement.
The cable length didn't to need to be changed again when I replaced the 350 4bbl with a 455, so I didn't change it again.

Does anyone know if the 68-69 400 throttle cables are the same as the 70-72 455 throttle cables?

The car is working great. Picked up a NOS 4V cable & was curious.
Think I'll let it be as it is.
I have a bad habit of fixing stuff until it's broken.
