Put a 455 in my 1970 buick skylark and bought the reproduction 455 throttle cable from then and now. I have the correct early style bracket that bolts to the intake and holds the throttle cable but got thinking about it and since I have a b4b I was wondering if that is going to make a difference?

I was told if you don't have the proper lenght cable your secondaries wont open up properly?
Why is the bracket for 72 not offset as much? Does it bolt to the intake in a different spot?

    Hope all that makes sense.

    Thanks,

    Dan

B4B should make no difference what so ever even though the carb pad is moved forward. You should always check for full throttle when the pedal is floored. Easy to do with a helper. I wouldn't get ahead of myself. Check it when you install it
