I met with Doug today and purchased a posi rear end from him. It looks great, feels tight, and the price was good. Plus it's always nice to put another "face with a name" here on the forum. Doug's a nice guy and I had a good time BS'ing with him for awhile. Thanks again Doug! Now get that ragtop back together! :3gears: p :TU: :beer :beer
Is that the 8.2 2.56 posi? Price was right for sure! I could have used that for a spare myself, but I also am thinking about going to an 8.5 with better gears, for the day there's a 455 between the fenders! I now have an 8.2 2.56 posi also.
thanks Rick its always nice to meet fellow Buick members:TU: and do some BS'ing. hope rearend serves you well. maybe see you at Norwalk this coming year for the Buick event ??o No:
Would like to add my opinion here. I purchased the 350 he had and it seems to be ok just as he said. Nice guy to deal with. Although he would not accept my offer of $50.00 for his 70 grille:laugh: Still a good guy though. John
thanks John its nice meeting some southerners and making fun of their accent:laugh: good doing business with ya. the motor should work out good for you, and i am just glad to get it out of here. :TU: now go get the car on the road and:3gears:
A nice guy??? I don't know, I saw some pretty strange behavior from him and Randy (Outrageous) out at Quaker Steak & Lube last Saturday.

Unfortunately you're too late. They have begun to appear here and there in various threads. Their secret is out.
Re: don't know him Hmm, Gary when YOU did things like that , they didn't have digital cameras for proof, where did you think Doug & I learned those antics....??? Randy
