I'm replacing all my front end on my 70 skylark convertible (ball joints, springs, bushings etc. )
Noticed that my center link and inner and outter tie rods are a little sloppy.
So off I go to the phone to order my parts and inner tie rods are $30 and outters are $55 but currently the inner and outters on my car are identical.
Is there a difference? Or did someone replace mine with the wrong ones years ago?

They are different numbers. The inners should have the grease joint in a different place and are hard to find now. It's not critical, but makes greasing them easier. You can get repro inners from Ames.

Thats strang that there is such a price difference.
I'll have to check with the supplier tomorrow and see if they can bring up a picture to make sure the grease joint is different.

One is LH and the other is RH. I forget if its the inner or outer that has the LH threads though
