Good morning JON... Unfortunately due due to inferior imported manufacturing techniques and assembly methods, you'll have to break the glass and crimp the leveling ball a bit on the frame. If you are not too fastidious, take the mirror off and use some loctite on the ball and roll liberally. Reinstall and adjust in place. You may only get one chance at position, or the L/T may just fill the void to snug it up. Praying for a positive result for you ! ws
