Can someone tell me if the circled timing cover bolt in this pic just above where the fuel pump mounts is where I would attach my fuel filter bracket on a 66 GS non A/C? Also does this same bolt go into a water jacket? Thanks in advance!
that would be 65 GS. 66 GS attaches down low on the left side if you're facing the front of the engine
Jeff, here are some pictures of the bolt, filter holder from my 2 66 motors. The timing cover bolt and holder are for my 425. Stud bolt just below the fuel pump, is where the filter holder attaches.
Can someone check a bare block and tell me if the circled timing cover bolt in the pic goes into a water jacket. Trying to avoid draining my coolant unless needed. Thanks in advance.
