Guys, Can a timing light go out of calibration? I have a Sears Craftsman light that I have had good luck with but I'm wondering if it is still as accurate as it once was. Is there a way to check it other than comparing it to another light? Yes, I have it set at zero advance.
I suppose its possible, but not common. I have a Sears timing light that was my dads, its about 30 years old, still works great. I've always been careful not to drop the magnetic pick-up clamp on the ground. Try a friends timing light to see if it reads the same as yours.
