1970 Buick GS. Is there a proper location for the tire jack decal on the underside of the trunk? I've looked on the web and have seen upper right, upper left, and in the middle. Did the factory folks slap it on where ever?...or is there a proper location? Had my trunk replaced in resto and never took a photo of my original inside trunk. Going off memory, I believe it was on the upper left side (drivers) of the trunk. Thanks for your input.

Hold the decal in your hand, blindfold yourself, spin around three times and have someone point you in the direction of the open trunk lid. When you get close, have your buddy trip you. Where the sticker winds up is considered the factory location.

I was going to suggest a similar application method but substituting several beers and a joint for the spinning and tripping.

OK, I will do one of these tactics! I suppose it depended on if the Lions won that week too.

All joking aside, I believe it should go by the trunk light. That way you can read it at night
