Could someone help me with the factory wheel/tire size for a 67' GS 400 ? I am starting to put together my car and would like to know the factory size, and a radial that would be allowed, if possible. I have been gathering parts to put it together, within the lines of the pure stock rules. And now it's some serious assemby this winter.

    Thanks..........

    Mike Wowk Who freakin' cares?

I think most guys who originally had F70-14's are running 215/70/14's or 225/70/14's

    radials

to be acceptable in judging for 1967 Buicks- all radials on "A" bodies would be 205/14 and would also be whitewall - also if your using the crome plated wheels make sure you have the correct offset on them, the 67 and earlier offset was near flush - this can be a major deduction if showing nationally - they do of course make correct reproduction bias ply tires and the GS's with the wide Oval tires drive nicely - plus then you could proerly go with redlines!!

Thanks, I was looking at the pure stock rules and wasn't sure what size to put on. My car is a pretty low optioned car, and came with painted steel wheels when I got it. Prolly stay with them more than likely with chrome nuts. Thinking about some custom made center caps if I can get them made to fit also. My plan is build along the pure stock rules although my chances of competing are very slim. Would like to try for the fun of it, just don't think the pull is logical. I can still run here though and have fun messing with peoples minds HAHA.
