Curious, I know that Buick Gran Sports and wagon and 4 doors are identifiable by the vin/ cowl tag/ drive train and frame stamp, but was curious why my title for my GS says skylark? I was wondering on other models riviera gran sport does it just says rviera on title too? Seems kinda gineric and same for GSX's does it just say Skylark? Seems like it they are all clasified by the body not the guts. Thanks, Steve
My title and registration say GS350, but also calls it a Grand Sport. I think it's just a matter of how each state has their computer info entered. As a rule, a Gran Sport model should not state "Skylark" on any documents, for the years when it was a separate model.
Classification on title I was pondering on the subject again and maybe it states Skylark on my 71GS for insurance purposes o No: . I might be a little concerned if my title said truck ou: . What do you do pull your gs to DMV and ask them to change it to a car . I guess the bottom line is the proof is in the paperwork build sheet and VIN#. There is no questioning that information. I was just puzzle why my title said Skylark not GS. :Smarty: Thanks, Steve Johnson :3gears:
Oh, Duane is one of those weirdo's that has to have something no one else has...see his pics at: http://www.classiccarinteriors.com/xcamino.htm .
