Been a long time in the making. Hopefully it goes together "happy" and runs like it's pissed.

    GS Kubisch THE "CUT-UP" BUICK

The combo ... The parts were selected based on the results of a friend's Pontiac for multiple reasons. Mostly based on the freakish performance he achieved with an Edelbrock Performer head.

The limitations of our Buick heads are very similar to what they faced with his Pontiac before John Marcella started pushing that envelope. At some point Scott Brown had John work a Buick head. The results showed promise so with
Scott facilitating and Mike Leech blazing the R&D trail I had a game plan

There are a few things left on the table but I'm going to say that this is about a 90% effort. It's a 4.500 bore, 4.400 stroke 560 cubic inch NA deal

I started the belt drive and some of my many talented friends put the finishing touches on it.

Manifold and heads as mentioned above are designed and finished by Marcella/Brown

Headers by Daren Kravec are SS and start at 2 1/4" and step up into the mega phone collectors. I probably won't run mufflers any more.

For many reasons I stayed with a steel rod from Carillo and used CP pistons

Along with the obvious TA also supplied the Crower crank and misc. trinkets.

I may get more specific after it goes down the track.

I've dealt with some of Marcella's work. Top notch.

Thanks Bruce! Close only starts to describe it. But that's in the past now.

Pretty confident that my car will only have a Buick in it as long as I own it. How fast it is will be the only question.
