    i have a 70 skylark but it has a 77 lesabre motor in it i am about to get my heads reworked, new lifters,new valves, and aluminum intake. will i see a significant difference in acceleration response?where can i find a aluminum intake for a 350?

    If they were a problem before (i.e. losing cylinder pressure through a leaking valve, etc.) then you will definately notice a difference.

    As far as the intake manifold goes, the more modified your engine is the more of a difference will be felt. It will probably help a small amount.

    If you can, why not change the cam too? The TA212 is popular, you might call TA performance and talk about your engine and have them recommend a cam for you.

    Also, double check that you will still be able to use the choke on your carb when you get a new manifold - you may have to change your choke arrangement if not.
