Anybody have a part# and manufacturer for a correct top hose for the 70 GS455. The ones I seem to get at the parts stores never quite fit right.( they dont line up with the hook on the fan shroud and they have a curve to them instead of being straight) Any help appreciated.

I had the same problem. I asked Dave Kliener about them and hem said he gets them from Gates. Gates is a Manufacturer so I would look for someone who sells gates.

    For what its worth!!

depending on year or model, sometimes gates makes the correct one or dayco does. other than that the only choice would be to have them repo. been there, done that with gates

Larry, I did not know he used gates but the GM au 1386849XB hose he sell's seems to fit the hose hook well. A lot of them don't and also hit the fiberglass snorkel.
