    Stg1Regal Yep Traction Issues!:)

Yep floating in the front is going to be an issue.

Depending on how many times your going to get up to that top speed, you my want to lower the car down 2"-3".

Also with a g-body the side windows will POP and get sucked out at that speed.

Here's a pic of a Pontiac G/P 2+2 Areo Coupe at 166 mph check out the windows.

He's lowered and set up to run top speed, check out the link to the thread on what his set up is , and see some others running fast with the front ends way up and appear to be floating.

The floating is an interesting feeling. I hit 145mph in my old Firebird (I don't recommend it...) and at that point it felt like the car wanted to lift and go air borne. What I was later told by LSR people was what I was feeling was lack of Horsepower. Once the car can not accelerate any more the HP is at equalibrium with the wind resistance, so it starts hunting for lower resistance, left, right, up, down. Very unsettling feeling at that speed! When I do the Silver State, I'll probably start at the 100-110mph category instead of the 125mph I had originally intended for a shake down.

Funny thing about those window's my Centurion has that problem at highway speeds if I go to roll them up =P

I agree that you'll be rpm limited with 3.42 gears to around 130mph. The more resistance and torque applied the converter the more slip that will occur.
