A 70 electra fan shroud wouldent work right? What are the differences? Ive read a few threads on the parts place shrouds and it seems they are good for a driver quality car but not a show car. My car is going to have a really nice engine bay but the car will be driven alot and will be a driver. Would this shroud be a good choice? Louie
Yes it will work However ,visually it is incorrect and has no pad to mount GS upper rad hose support hook.
While the one from TPP is a little harder and more black, it does have the pad for the hose hook now, however it is bonded on.
A 70 big block shroud in nice shape is prohibitively expensive. Not to mention made out ouf unobtainium. I saw a broken one go for 5 bills a while back. Put the TPP one on your car Louie. It will be fine.
