Just read this over on Moparts.

Who knows, by the time for the Martin race, the bridge construction may be all done. Keep your fingers crossed.

Not sure if the overpass will be completed by the race. If not, when leaving to head north, go south to the next exit and back-track. I live near there and believe me, this is the best way. Most other routes involve a lot more driving and/or dirt roads.
Also, I am in Caledonia, just 1/2 hour away from Martin. I have a lot of tools, a shop and a lot of local connections should the need arise for repairs. Also, a lot of parking area for those who do not feel comfortable leaving rigs, trailers, etc. in motel lots.

Bridge at Martin exit, No. 55, over U.S.-131 is now open

The bridge at the Martin exitBridge open, No. 55, for access to the east-west M-222 between Martin and Allegan now is open. The bridge was brought down last winter and has caused traffic to detour. particularly to the east toward Martin. The bridge was open on the first day of the Memorial Day weekend. Michigan Department of Transportation officials promised it would be ready in time for the annual B-93 Birthday Bash next month, and apparently they have delivered.

B-93 Hillbilly bash cancelled due to rain/flooding of the grounds at the track. I saw pictures and the place looks like a Pond. Nice.

I heard they are planting rice there for the import drags.
The YeeHaw fest was packed when we went past there Saturday late afternoon. Bet they cleared out fast when the storm went through.
