In a tube chassis car what mount should be used for the tranny? Solid or a poly style?
    Thanks Rick

Depends on how engine is mounted: If engine is NOT solid mounted, under no conditions use a solid transmission mount.(unless you like replacing transmission cases, as that is what will happen with the rotational torque ripping the case at the mount.)

Glad to hear from you, hope the move is on schedule.
The motor came from Carl Creque. It's AMP 470.
Ruffo still had one of the motors for the car when he had it, it was a 505 it looked like more than I wanted to tie unto.
I have a new poly style mount, but I am not sure it will fit. Seems pretty snug. Plus it has 2 pieces to it, you have to sandwich it together then bolt it on. The crossmember is non removable. Tomorrow I will look at is closer to see whats up. Thanks Chris for your help

    Thanks Rick
