Doug, just to clarify................ Thats POW then, Right? We're gonna go through the wagon's tranny this winter & was thinking of which way to go, trans brake seems like a good fit for us. Do you also have a line lock for the front brakes? If thats a dumb question just let me know and I'll have Beth:spank:me D.
Dana I think it's a good idea. I have mine set up so both line lock and trans brake activate at the same time . If you like to shallow or deep stage the car can roll out of the lights from slack in the drive train .
This is for the people who cant do two things at the same time. As far as backing up with a fluid brake, splice a toggle switch into your button wire so when you want to back up you flip on the toggle switch and with both hands on the steering wheel YOU can back up. :jd: How simple is that. BTW, I dont have this set up in my car, i can do more than two things at the same time.
Not a bad idea 434 Olds, my wife came up with that very same idea. Not too bad... Big boobs and brains, I love it.
Ha Ha, lol, ... I do, but I think I would get myself into a bit of trouble posting those pics. But I do appreciate the advice on the trans brake. BTW does one gain much in ET using a brake or is it all just reaction time?
Yes their is a gain. How much? Depends on what RPM you leave at. The harder the car hooks, the quicker your reaction time will be plus your 60 ft is faster which means you will pick up in ET. I leave the starting line at 5800 and 60 ft a 1.19 and run a 8.87 at 149.
