I'm in the process of replacing my trunk panel,I can't find the angle piece that goes across the rear of the panels .It runs right along the rear frame behind the rear bumper and mounts to the frame with body mounts and caged nuts. Also the panels came bare steel,I was thinking about prepping them with primer and just cleaning the areas to be welded, good idea? if so what is a good primer?Any thoughts would be apprieciated-- DAVE :Do No:

You can use a weld through primer on the pieces. Saves lots of grinding.
