A few years ago I painted my trunk with the incorrect color; the bottom has worn off some from my toolbox and floor jack. I also cleared the paint. I currently have the correct color , what prep should I do before applying the correct trunk splatter. Also what clear do you recommend with Eastwood black & aqua trunk splatter.
    Thanks

Clear with matte clear or the spatter paint will lift if it gets wet.

This may be hard to see, zoom in on the red sticker under the amplifier. About 1/2” around the sticker is the original splatter, which has less aqua spots. It looks like it was painted black then shot with aqua paint. I used Eastwood black and aqua splatter.

    Looks great!
I’m sure the line workers didn’t critique their work;)
