Hello all I was trying to adjust my trunk lid to get it even on both sides. I can get the passenger side perfect with a nice gap, the driver's side how ever sits high on the lower end of the lid that goes over the taillights. My questions is does anyone have any ideas on how I could get the parts to align correctly. When removed there were no shims, and this is a replacement lid not the original. Also, when I looked at the tension bars, the one on the passenger side was in the lower slot, and driver's side was on the upper slot, can someone tell me the method you have used to get the tension bars back into the slots.
