I've got a recently rebuilt 350 that I'm looking to put back into my Jeep Gladiator (and yes, the 455 that's in it is going to be for sale) and I'm trying to determine what year it is...all the PO is giving me is a number/letter sequence on the back of the block...this doesn't tell me squat...anyone? T68220T Where can I look on the engine to determine what year it is? He has no idea...
try checking in between the 1 & 3 plugs on the deck. there should be a 2 letter code stamped there, and 3 digits. The 2 letters will tell the story.
The casting code stamped in the flange that mounts to the trans will narrow down within a year or two.
