I would love to see pictures of your tunnel ram setups. Sheet metal? Mopar? Water crossover? Carbs and linkage? How much power was your ram worth?
Cory, you've got it going on man. Look at that motor, car, GIRLS!!! WOW!! :Brow: I found very little room to run the water lines. Are your plates tapped for 3/8" NPT or 1/2"? I was worried the .400 hole in my 3/8" NPT fitting would not allow enough water flow. After running some flow calculations it should be fine. My motor is just mocked up in the picture. Not all the parts are installed. I still waiting on a pan from Steve and TA taking care of my oil pump needs. The carbs are from Quick fuel. I should show a picture of the porting thru the adaptor plate and manifold. Killer shot right at the valve! My plenum volume measures 104cui which is almost perfect. The runners lengths to the valve are almost 13 1/2", almost perfect for 6400rpms ram tuning.
Tunnel Carb CFM Are those Mopar Intake you guys are using.383 or 440? What Models of Intake are you using?. Where did you get the adapter Plates?. What Model of Aluminum heads are you Using?. What Carbs Models CFM?. 2 or 3 circuit? Center Squirter's?
Hey Jeff, I'll try to answer your questions. The intakes are mopars. 'B' mopar intakes fit the plates for SE or stock heads. 'RB' intakes for a 440 are required for TE heads. I have SE heads on mine while I believe Cory has TE heads. Charlie Evans makes these high quality adaptor plates. KB used to make them. TA has plates for welding up your own intake. I'm using the Weiand High Ram for the 383-400 low deck. My carbs are Quick Fuel 650s. They take circle track wedge float carbs to make tunnel ram sideways mount carbs. By changing the boosters they become 750s. Since this is a cold intake application I plan on annular boosters. I am putting O2 sensors in my collectors. My carbs are 2 circuit. 30cc double pumpers.
71stage2, can you give us a rundown on your build. It looks like it should make 850hp easy. Any power figures? Man thats killer!
That power level sounds pretty special! I'm just hoping for 700hp. Dave, I should have bought a kit from ya. I cost about the same in the end.
