After I get this Pro Street car moving under its own power I want to look at doing something wild looking. I've been thinking of using a mopar tunnel ram adapted to my SE heads. I have my eyes on Indy's new cast version of thier sheet metal tunnel ram. I have heard rumors of a buick tunnel ram my appear soon. Anyone heard of this? Tell me watcha think! Vote for a hood scoop style too. :3gears:
Contact Dave Mongeon,he's had aluminum castings made for a tunnel ram years ago, sells them as a kit to be welded together. gary
Here you go CFE built the intake for me starting with plates supplied by TA.Initialy I was going to build my own but I decided that it was beyond what I wanted to take on.
Hi Guys, David...Charlie Evans (270)685-4654) has made and is selling adapter plates for our BBB's to fit both B & RB Mopar intakes. Give him a call...:TU: ________________________________________________ WOW!! That's a BEAUTIFUL intake there Kevin!:TU:
WOW! that's what i'm talking about. That is beautiful, a work of art. Thanks Gary, I do remember seeing one of his kits and the finished product. This my be cheaper then adapter plates and mopar ram and welding. Kerry, I've been thinking the same thing. Using charlies plates to fit an Indy B block tunnel ram. I sure wish I had chosen the TE heads now. Hey Kevin, how are you routing water flow and the thermostat housing? Anyone know how these run on our beloved BBB?
There will be no thermo stat housing the plates are drilled and tapped for 1/2npt I will have 4 lines from the front and back of the intake to a fabricated collector that then goes to the radiator. I was going too adapt a mopar intake but decided to go all the way.My next set of heads will have a B1 intake.
