Thanks Doc, It is nice with the Bridgeport and even better when I work with really great guys in all the shops so I am always learning something from them. We did make sure the transition from the adaptor to the intake was all milled together and I went over everything with 80 grit and 120 grit from my porting kit. I also was just smoothing out the outside of the intake and the casting. I did go a little to wide and had to weld up the intake because we went into the heat passages. I can post pictures of that. we were machining with the adapter on and I didn't realize it until it was to late. I will be painting the engine with base coat clear coat this winter when I take it out for the last time. the motor looks nice but I think it will just take it to the nexted level and with some fabricated inner wheel wells I will be able to keep everything cleaner. I am still waiting for my intake gaskets so hopefully tomorrow they show up and I can get so testing on the street before I take it sunday to New England to tune it on the 1/4 mile and really open it up. Just got my Holley jet kit in yesterday with some other tools I ordered so I am getting excited. If anyone is in the NH area next sunday we will enjoing a nice day at the track.
