This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

anyone have any single turbo drag race setup engines? pictures? and had anyone heard of using a 6.0 ford turbo or a duramax turbo on a gas engine.

Those diesel turbos would be too small for a 455. You would need one from a bigger diesel.

Lonnie I am using a Garrett ball bearing turbo for the 7.3 Ford upgrade. This was going on Jenn's dragster with the 350 Buick, But we will instead be using it with our 11 to 1 401 Nailhead. We are using an 8 tube Hilborn adapted to run on boost. Simple as changing the 8 nozzles and making 2 log manifolds. The waste-gate is a mechanically adjustable and we will also be using a secondary pressure relief to the intake. We generally ran the car with a high speed bypass to ease back on the fuel but we should be able to get away from needing it.
The engine is straight methanol for fuel. I may add a small amount, up to 20%, of nitro if it falls short of where I am aiming:Brow:
