I am having my 65 skylark painted in a week or so. I want to go with the original color of turquoise mist but add a little more metalic to it, however I am not sure my guy knows how to get the original color. He does paint and body work on the side so he doesnt have the same access to stuff as a professional would. He had planned on using a paint chip catalog from NAPA auto parts to find a current manufacture and color code/number. Can anyone provide me some guidance on how to find an exact match with updated manufacture and part numbers? If you look at the paint code on your firewall tag that will give you a direction for a paint supplier to get the color right
