I have this exact TCI bracket and this throttle/tv cable hookup on my car, mounted like this one. But the tv cable will not reach the tv stud, it's about 5/8" short. If I pull it enough to reach the stud and connect it, when I rachet it by going WOT, it pulls the whole adjustment part of tv cable thru the mounting bracket. Any idea why? I bought the tci geometry corrector too, but I don't think it's going to bolt to this. Thanks for any advice.

Thanks, but I've read this one and others. I was just curious what the length of inner cable should be from nose of the slider to wear it connects to tv stud, in case I've got an issue on the other end. My inner cable is about 4.5" when fully extended. I appreciate your info tho, I may be overlooking something.

Ive not used the TCI stuff. I would see about adjusting the holding bracket closer to the pvot arm as it seems that it is too far seat if the throttle openning is pulling it out of the bracket. Im guessing You have the other end hooked up yo the tv bracket in the trans and cable at rest the tv valve is also at rest position. Then when the throttle is opened the tv valve is also openning.

My cable was really long and the trans guy put a cable end on it to keep the TV clip from slipping off the end.
