It has been a while now for me to finally post this thread. Sorry if it is in the wrong section, but maybe a moderator can help out if needed. Wasn't sure. Anyways ...It is very hard for me to post this so PLEASE bear with me. My Father a life long car enthusiast, passed on Oct. 3. My mother (also a car enthusiast, since she met my dad) lost her battle with cancer three years. ago. Both of them did not deserve the hand they were dealt. MY dad 68, My mom 65. Didn't smoke, drink, nothing.

Well, I could ramble on all day about how great people they were, and how fortunate I was to have them both. I was brought up around tools, cars, bikes, anything with a motor, But mostly old chevy's. All of my child hood memories were going to swap meets, car cruises, and national meets for the vintage chevy club of america. There was a 66 gs along the way and a boattail riv, a couple pontiacs, an olds or 2, and even ford. But my dad lived and breathed old completely bone stock original chevy's.

It has been running through my brain like an emotional roller coaster on what to do with some of his vehicles. Everyone is different and I am torn on what I should do. He and my mother had big plans and dreams and I dont want the same to happen to me. I am 41 and know if my parents passed so early in life by leading a good life, gosh my days are numbered if you know what I mean!

The thing is I would love to keep them all but I am trying to be rational and honest with myself. I can only drive 1 at a time. I love BUICK! I love odd ball stuff. I would like t thin the heard and purchase 1 more buick and be done.

I know this is a buick site but this is the only forum I would ever consider opening complete strangers. If anyone as any interest or knows of anyone please let them know and p.m. me or reply here. Thanks for your time.

Here with a shaking typing fingers I will list what I am considering selling. I am uncertain of all prices and am open to offers. All of these vehicles have proper documentation and have great history.

I will list them and try to post pics.

We want to help you out but you need to put some type of price on each vehicle. You can always work down until it sells.

    Dave,

Those folks may have passed on, but they've left you some wonderful memories and a great inheritance. You probably want to keep one of their cars to help preserve those memories. I think the Mustang convertible is actually an '05. One thing great about the cars you're going to move, the makes and models are quite popular!

What's the one Buick you're wanting to add? I like the picture of your '69 and the buddies 442.

Thanks Engie, Thanks Brian, it means alot. I have been looking at a couple sportwagons and am real interested in a 73 stage car. The most important thing is to find proper owners. These vehicles have been with my family for 30 years plus.

    Dave,

Is that a specific '73 Stage 1 or maybe you're speaking in general terms?

Brian, I have found one. Just hoping it works out. I will probably keep the 50' and pour sick amounts of money into her. I already started.

Don't be sure that just because your parents passed early that you will too. Along with my three brothers, I have outlived my father significantly. Our Mom lived a long life (84) but my oldest brother has outlived her by five years. He is 18 years older then I am, so I have a ways to go.

I knew the 1950 was in a movie that probably no one has ever seen. Those lips those eyes? I think there is a couple scenes with her. Also the 1960 Impala was in a Kevin Bacon movie, Telling lies in america? Never even seen it. I think I was away at college when this happened.

Thanks flipper. Yes John that is me. Thanks for the kind words. You know how good my dad was to all of his cars. He is greatly missed and it hurts deeply to sell some of his posessions. What ever happened to that f150? Hope to see you in the summer!
