I am installing a new th400 in my 72 convertible - it had originally a th350 trans. It has a stock one-piece driveshaft. I bought a new yolk for the transmission tailshaft and it is a 1350 style yolk. I know I need a hybrid universal joint, but does anyone have a part number? I went to 4 parts places today and only one place had books to look up a part. The kid told me it was a "Precision (Mfg) #447 (p/n)" that I needed and they they could have it in 8-10 days. Can anyone confirm that part number or offer an alternative? Is there any more info that is needed? Thanks all

I assume the Buicks use the same M3R joint as the Olds do, here - but a Spicer #447 sounds right to go from M3R to 1350. My memory isn't quite good enough, sorry!
