Got my 72 convert. back from Jimmy's tranmission .. 200-4R installed with 2800 stall, WOW!! The difference from the th350 no stall is amazing. Before it was tough to smoke the tires .. now it's hard to get it to hook-up. Some quick 0 - 60 times and 60ft times really showed the difference.

    before trans 60ft= 2.20 0-60 5.90

    now at 2.07 and 5.20

Need to put some decent tires on and then try the n2o setup !! Any thoughts what the 0-60 time equates to a 1/4 mile et.?? Car weighs about 4,000 lbs.

    Thanks, David

Hey how much did it set you back if you don't mind? Jimmy's is supposed to be a great place to get it done. There's so many prices thrown around it might encourage others to try a 200-4R if they hear the price to set up a mild combo like yours.

My trans. was Jimmy's mid range unit. Full installation and tuning in of the trans. including 2800 stall TC was $1500.00.

It fell like a 4.11 off the line (gear is 3.73) and in OD 2,000 rpm at 60mph .. it is NICE!!
