Ron are you after the number onn the block that tells if it is a Turbo block? the casting number right? We will have to open them up and get all the numbers off them and take some pics at the same time. there in the GM boxes if that helps. Doug
does it have any tags or the like on the outside of the box, and are these RWD blocks also, if these are just blocks bare 900.00 is real steep, now if a stage block, that would make a difference, LMK. thanks. Ron
yes casting #, if memory serves me it should be on the drivers side rear towards the bottom, also look and see if there is a SG1 also casted in too, drivers side near the casting#, again if memory serves me correctly, thanks. Ron
we know they are 109 blocks and were ment for repacing GN&t type motors. They were bought when we had the cars to use them in nbutnowonly have 1 GN and we have 3 running motors plus a bunch of parts. so this these are the first to go. we will get pics this weeend as we will be moving stuff around and get the pics and numbers and all the good stuff then. until the if you want more info call us Thanks Doug
ok guys this stuff is at my dads and hes the one that has the blocksand other parts give me till Saturday afternoon to get some pics and post them. I have to do alot of other stuff as well so I will take allte numbers info and so on off of it all the box and the block then you can ask away. ok. here are pic's of block 1. this block has 1 run in it from factory to check for leaks & tolerances. this block does not have sg1 on it.
block 2 pics. this block has sg1 on side of it. however this block has same casting numbers on it as block 1. this block has never been ran. it needs to be finished hone. for more info please call dave at 209-668-1380.
