    Hi guys,

I want to get some plastic arm rest bases re-coated/plated. M&M in California has quoted me 55 bucks each plus any prep work required.

Meuller (through Instrument Specialties) quoted me 100 per unit.

Meuller/Instrument Specialties seems to be solid and reputable........I see 2 reviews on Yelp from dissatisfied customers of M&M?

    Thanks for your input.

Ditto on Chrometech. :TU: I'm happy with the job they did on mine.

I have used GCAR to repair and replate several sets of '67 armrest bases. They can repair cracks vacuum metalize and will even put on the reflective tape at the rear of the part. They do nice work. It cost $145 to do the last pair of bases including crack repair. $100 for a pair if not cracked.

I heard they actually worked at or bought cvv equipment. Not far away being up in WA State . Always good to have another option with high wait times .
