Well I have a 350 70 buick eng. with a 4 barel quardjett carb. well on the front it has 3 vacuum lines and one in the rear. What should these get plug in or should I block them off? I've put the eng. in a 85 regal. please help I think this is why my buick is still not running right.

Well, the back one will probably go to the tranny or brake booster.

One on the front goes to the Thermac, another goes to the distributor. And, if you have PCV one probably goes to that.

I thought the brake booster line went straight to the intake. The PCV valve is located behind the carb and that vacuum line runs directly into the back of the carb with a 3/8? in. line.

The front - One runs to the Distributor, one goes to the thermac on the air cleaner, and the other goes to a thermal valve on the intake? I can't remember for sure...I always have a picture of it handy when I put the lines back together:grin:

Good luck. I would assume that if you aren't using some of the vacuum lines, cap them.

    Ziggy,
The nipple in the back goes to the vacuum storage tank(for the heater controls), which on an 85 Regal should be up front on the passenger side. The 3/8" connection in the front goes to the PCV valve(It loops around the passenger side of the carb). The other smaller nipples in the front are manifold vacuum(passenger side-use this to run the door in your air cleaner if used), and ported vaccum(drivers side- use this for your vacuum advance if used). Hope that helps.

Larry's got it. And the trans vacuum and brake booster both goto the manifold on buick motors.
