    flbuick 72 GSX clone project

    Hello, new guy to the forum. Purchased a 72 Skylark 350 GS clone. It has a rebuilt 350, cammed with headers and TA intake and Edelbrock 600 CFM carb, AC, PS, Disc, Buckets/console, PW, In-dash tach, front and rear spoilers, currrent open rear with 3:42 gears, overall nice car. I will put her in the Body shop in Feb. to add GSX paint scheme in Yellow or Red (haven't decided yet). Also have a 83 T-type regal that I haven't decided what to do with. May restore or may be a donor car... Anyways, my questions are;
    1. How do I access the rear valve cover bolt on the pass side by the AC box?
    2. When I attempt to set the timing with a light, I cannot see the timing mark on the scale. I have checked to ensure I connected to #1 cylinder, Marked the balancer so I can see it, advanced/retarded the timing to see if the mark comes into the scale, etc...
    Any suggestions?
    Good forum, look forward to learning more from the posts...
