valve cover hole

This is probably a simple question, but here goes. The hole in the valve cover that connects the cover to the air cleaner with a hose, I am not going to use a stock air cleaner, so what do I do with the hole? o No: John

 

there are valve cover brethers you can buy t/a performance or flat rubber plugs

Use a breather. You may need a different size grommet as well.
