Here's the skinny on Vegas 2004. I haven't seen anything firm from the organizers but according to Steve Hurst on the Turbo BB:

West Coast Nationals Dates for 2004
The new dates are Oct. 8, 2004 Friday 4 Pm to 10 PM
Oct. 9, 2004 Saturday 7 AM to Late PM

Sounds great, can't wait to go back last year was so much fun, even if we had Rich's car back in the trailer before the end of Friday night. Maybe I'll even have my car done in time:rolleyes: .
Oh well still a lot of fun to put faces to names and watch.
Hoping all goes well with Rich's car, I am however, a little concerned about what Tami's going to say about Rich leaving her home this year. :spank:

Shesh Boys, I suppose their may be a chance I may not be able to go after all...... More detail in due time.

Sorry to ask a stupid question, but is this a BPG event? I haven't heard much about it. Hopefully my Skylark will be done in October so I can come out there! Sounds like fun.

Well....... it kind of is. The BPG has been a sponsor of this event in the past....... It's not a full out BPG event, but the club does help make it happen.

BPG is a MAJOR sponsor and without the BPG (and John Schmidt) I don't think there'd be cash for V8 winner plaques. Of course, more cars = more $$$$.

The SoCal GSCA is going to push hard for a bigger V8 turnout this year. The Vegas guys who put this on are also VERY interested in seeing more V8 participation. But we're kinda stumped on how to get BPG folks to come out to Las Vegas from anywhere but the immediate region.

Tons of turbo cars there.. and nasty fast, too.

It IS a lot of fun.
