    Hi guys,

My name is Ian, and for some strange reason, I was born on the wrong continent!!
    I own a 79 century wagon, with a 301

it`s my dayli driver, and my wife hates it! (maybe thats why i keep it!)

but by norwegian rules, it`s an old car, that goes by the veteran rules, for cars.
and that means, that it`s very cheap.
about 200 $ a year. and thats with taxes and insurance.

in norway, thats very cheap, my daugther pays about 3000$ a year, for a 89 Vw golf!!!:Dou:

Welcome Ian. Old cars are a lot of fun, and being cheaper just makes it even better.

    Welcome Ian,

If you hang our here long enough you'll find that a 1979 model car is actually considered "new"

    Thank you, for the welcome.

It`s the same here in Norway.
the car is newer, than most amcars, and a lot of people does not se it as a classic!
but it doesn`t matter to me, as long as i`m having fun, I`ll keep driving!

Welcome!! You're in the right place here. I don't know much about the cars as new as yours, but cars are cars right!

cars are cars, but there`s something about a V8, that gives me that last kick.

I have been transporting cars, for years, and therefore driven most new cars, here in europe.
a goog job, and well paid, but at the end of the day, theres nothing better than to get in to your own V8 powered buick.

i`m moving to a bigger house, with a bigger garage, since my daughter has been bitten by the carbug as well, not to mention my two boys, the youngest is three, and he wants to be a dragracer!

all in all, in my familly, we have

    1979 buick century
    1980 buick skylark
    1961 pontiac laurentian
    1989 Vw golf
    1982 chevy malibu, (spareparts!)

and a few more on the way!

Ed gundersen, is that danish, swedish or norwegian
