VFN Fiberglass Fenders (70-72) It looks to be a much easier route to go with fiberglass at this point in time. I think I will also order a hood in glass, and store my stock piece. I spoke with Jean at VFN Fiberglass, and here was her email response: "Hi. Thanks for your interest in our products! Our fenders are a bolt on application, however, these will not work with a stock (factory) hood as it is too heavy for our fenders. You can however purchase these fenders in "street weight" which will make them more durable. This would increase the price to $620.00 (pair). These street weight fenders will allow the use of a bolt on hood, however, it would have to a fiberglass hood...as the steel would still be too heavy for the fenders. There are impressions to show where to drill the bolt holes out for mounting. I'm sorry but I'm not really sure where to find steel fenders other then goodmark or a salvage yard.
