VFN Fiberglass Hood

Can anyone on board tell me if they are using the VFN Fiberglass hood for a 70-72 Skylark or GS?

Thinking on adding a STAGE 2 Fiberglass hood and want to know about the quality. Just spoke to them and there are no vents on rear of hood nor is the front molding able to be put on.

Car is a STAGE 1 now but STAGE 2 heads are coming. Tired of air cleaner hitting the hood bottom.

Wondering if I should just take a solid Skylark hood and trim out like the racers do and add scoop.

Hey Will, Did you try WS Racing.com They have alot of 70-72 Buick fiberglass stuff They just might have a stage 2 hood scoop or can make one for you..

 

Strange, I ran the front molding on mine and thought the quality was excellent.

 

I think VFN's quality is very good. I have a pin on hood that they molded the stage 2 scoop on to and it fits great. I even installed the front hood trim.
