This past weekend I took off the Vinyl Top off my car and I am getting the roof ready to paint. However, I am looking for tips on removing the metal "tabs" that the vinyl top trim around the back window held on to. I am told that you can grind them off, but the problem with that is that if you grind too far into the sheet metal you will have to fix the dip that you make. Or using a saw to cut them off? Does anyone know of the best way to get these off? Or the easiest? Thanks!

Those studs have to be cut off with a cut off wheel. That is the easiest way to do it.
