Virus Forum removed, and a warning

This temporary forum has now been removed, as Lord Knows we don't have to do anything beyond turn on the news to hear non stop coverage of this deal.

Let's get back to talking Buicks, and let the rest of this stuff be as it may.

I received a PM this evening, from a long time user, who wrote candidly about how some on here are injecting politics on the sly into threads across the board here.

Over the next few days, I am going to go back and review what has been going on here, and note those individuals that I deem are doing that.

If I see it continuing, I will remove that individual from the site. No warning, no suspension, no hand holding.

So if your doing that.. stop.

Let's get back to focusing on our hobby, and the things that unite us, not those which divide us.

Sounds good, Jim. Maybe you can tweak the rules to ban hot topic social issues as well. It may be tough to define whats acceptable and what is not, but I think threads about the national anthem protests are a good example of what we could live without. Just a suggestion, obviously it's your call.

 

That falls under the "not Buick related" category and while I had looked the other way on some of that stuff in the past, I am going to be a bit more aggressive about removing those threads here in the future, so we can get back to why we are really all here.

Thank you Jim, I haven’t been coming on as much and removed alerts because it was like walking into an active bar fight with folks (with a couple rare exceptions) that I had always had excellent “Buick relations” with.
Cheers for putting things behind us and helping each other on our cars : )

 

I forgot it even existed. Haha. I went in there a little early on, it was 40% informative/60% entertaining. Even threw my 2 cents in on a few melees. But it got old quick so I did that whole funny little "being responsible for my personal choices" thing and just quit venturing in there. Crazy concept, but believe it or not, it wasn't that hard. But I think you're right Jim, it had run its course and just became the usual suspects slinging crap at each other (at least weeks ago when I was last in there. I can only imagine it devolved even more since then).
