So, now that you're awake, who's still driving their cars around? Took mine out friday night to pick up the pizza for dinner and took the LONG way to get there. :3gears:
Nothing of mine ever gets put up until the first salting of the roads.

Went to our local A & W yesterday, and saw what looked like snow on the bridge. Yikes, it was salt and I drove through it with my Wife's 67 Pontiac 2+2.

YUP! I stayed up till 4am thursday morning buttoning things up just so I could take the car for a ride and test out the stage2 engine I just built. Got 2.5 hours of sleep and then got back up so I could drive the car into work. I wanted to take it for a ride before they dropped the salt. Test fitted the fiberglass bumpers, hood, fenders and put on a couple quick coats of epoxy primer. The car is a blast to drive!

Drive mine to work every day that weather allows up to the first road salting. Its my favority time of day. This morning at dawn it was cool and the twin plumes of water vapor trails in the headlights of the car behind me was really kool. Drive em hard and often cuz you cant take em with you! :TU:

Worked on the GS400 interior yesterday and then took her for a nice drive through Valley Forge Park. I will drive mine until the first salt is put down.

Took mine out Saturday and Sunday. That new close ratio steering box is fantastic! Plus the car loves the 32 degree air in the morning! Keeps breaking the rear tires loose, even on light acceleration (thanks to JW and T/A). Gonna be real sad when they salt the roads.

I took mine out for a cruise yesterday. Beautiful clear, crisp, sunny fall day. I don't know who enjoyed it more, me or my car. I even stopped by a lake and snapped a few pics. I wish the weather would stay like that all year long.:TU:

I ran the 65 last weekend, last weekend the track (LVD) was open for the season. Good air, great track prep, ran good. Got 8 runs in. Place was deserted

Drove mine a bit last Sunday, time to buy a new heater motor, been putting it off but in this cold it is nice to have some heat. Now to finish off these tires before snow flies which may be tomorrow according to the forecast.

Got back from a weekend in Cleveland. First thing I did was jump in the car by myself with only the sound of the exhaust playing! Two things i have that stay out till the first snow falls. My car and my clubs!

    P.S
Have been known to take the clubs out after the first snow melted. Playing tomorrow. 60 degrees!

I remember playing DURING a snow squall!! Just switched to an orange ball, was good to go. My stubborn Scotsman buddy, on the other hand..............never found his white one in the middle of the fairway. Putting was interesting, as it was necessary to clear your path to the hole. :Dou: Couple of holes later, snow melted and it was back to a nice 33 F.

Oh yes, both cars went to winter sleep 10 days ago.

F'en snowing right now! Ground is covered. I guess i will be calling my neighbors to see if i can keep the Buick in their garage all winter if i have too. They gave me permission to keep it there in the summer and in the winter it goes to my buddies heated garage. But, if this snow does not melt then i am porked into either storing it cold and not working on it this winter or driving it in the salt to the heated garage. Maybe we will get some warm weather and rain so i can move it. Wait and see i guess. I am just not ready for winter yet!

AWESOME! Glad to hear some of us are still enjoying our rides. I've been tracking down and completing small details under the hood also. I'll shoot a pic or two tomorrow.

    Well,
I was out driving around in the cold November rain in Danielle's Buick yesterday.
I didn't want to be driving in the rain, I got caught in it.

So, the car was run hard and put away wet.
