OK this isn't a duplicate thread, but I got tired of waiting for an answer. (2 minutes is a long time) I removed my front lower control arm to replace the ball joint and one of the bushings came out too easily. Can I use a welder to close up the hole?

Throw it away and get another one. Your life is worth more then the price of the part.

    Oh yeah.

It's great, you hit the brakes everything starts shifting, sometimes you hear some clunking, and people wonder why they can't get their front end aligned and they keep eating tires.

Used to see it all the time at the garage. Saw one once that was so bad it was almost thru. The guy wanted to take the car and bring it back later. By law we would have been responsible if he got in an accident, so we had to impound the car and fix it before we gave it back. He did pay the bill but either way it had to be fixed before it left the lot. Almost had to call the State cops to inspect this one, but the guy relented.

Scott, how did the other side look??

I'm not pulling the other side off until I replace this one. My memory on how things go back together is better aided by pictures.... I didn't notice anything wrong with the other side, but I wasn't paying close attention. Now I will when I tear it apart and inspect it.
