Really neat car. I had a 66 Starfire survivor car with a factory 4 speed for a while. True definition of "boat". I always liked the 65's styling better. My dad had a 65 Jetstar 1 but it was an automatic. Real time machines for me. SWEET! Peace, Mike D.
A 425 cid Olds is a hot engine. There is plenty of meat to go to 440+ cid on them too. Here is our little brother to the Starfire.
Jim, I always thought that year 442 was the best looking "A" Body car ever made. Stunning!! Peace, Mike D.
Tom, Jim and Mike --Yet another Dave H. and family car via Georgia, Michigan and now N.C. A lot of under the hood plumbing was involved. We look forward to seeing your 66 442 in action.
Another nice Olds http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Olds...3?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item3f077cdc95#v4-33
Thought that looked familiar....  Looks a whole lot better than when Gary had it... Does JEA know who's selling that JetstarI?     Hope that engine is OK... There was a guy in Olds Engineering that had a 4 speed red 65 Starfire...Ran him many times on Cedar Street just South of the Olds plant. Ate me alive in the Ramrod from a dead stop, different story from a roll. He really got pissed when I annihilated him in my 63 Catalina Conv any way he wanted to try it..421 HO tripower 4 speed. Didn't want to try my 60 Vette with the 301..LOL
